Buffalo, New York, an All American city which people said about this historic city, founded in the late 1700s' and reached its top at 1901 because of Pan-American Expo, faces its falling in the 20th century. Falling though, there are still many treasures of Buffalo yet to discover.
I studied in UB (University at Buffalo) from May, 2001 to August, 2003, which made my very wonderful days. I tried to study hard, as well as travel hard. I have set foot on the territories of 30 states in the US (50 total^_^), including Hawaii, and these journeys did extend my horizon and escalate my life experiences to the next level.
This is a website displaying my life, my thoughts, my friends, and many more American dreams in these two years. Visit each episode by accessing from the pull-down menu at the top of each page. Any commands are truly welcomed.
水牛城 & 紐約州大水牛城分校
紐約州的水牛城，或布法羅(Buffalo)是一個很標準的美國城市，想一窺它的長相，可以看看金凱瑞的《王牌天神》，戲裡的Buffalo大概就是50年前還很熱鬧的想像圖。整個廣義的Buffalo，是以Buffalo City為中心的西紐約州地區，幅員廣大，有山有水，還有聞名全球的尼加拉瀑布(Niagara Falls)，所以雖然已經没落了，但是還是個要什麼有什麼的地方，再加上它本身擁有的歷史文化，造就了Buffalo豐富的生活。
我在UB待了二年又三個多月，這段日子會是我最難忘的回憶。第一次白色聖誕的興奮到第一次雪中車禍的憤恨，啊～太多的經歷是無可取代的，要我講個幾天幾夜也講不完。除了認真的跟上學術研究的腳步，旅遊的行程也絕不鬆懈。除了踏過美國30個州的土地，美東各大城也漸漸熟悉，那更別說如跑自家厨房的加拿大多倫多了。現在每每到了特定的時節，便會想起在Buffalo的一切，說是崇美這就太嚴重了，美國糟的地方也是可以說上幾天幾夜，只是這些甘苦的留學生涯早已成為我難忘的鄉愁。
